Losing our son Micah was the most devastating experience of our lives, but the team at Twomey, LeBlanc & Conte Funeral Home in Newburyport, MA, especially Louis who helped us honor him with a service that was truly beautiful, dignified, and full of love.
From the very beginning, Louis was professional, compassionate, and incredibly courteous. He made every step of the process as smooth and gentle as possible, guiding us through decisions no parent should ever have to make. His attention to detail was unmatched, from the floral arrangements to Micah’s makeup and attire, the memorial and thank-you cards, and even the coordination of the ushers' dress code. Every detail was thoughtfully considered and executed with elegance and care. It was beyond perfect.
Louis thought of things we never would have considered, offering suggestions that were thoughtful and helpful without ever being intrusive. He has a true gift for anticipating needs during such an emotionally overwhelming time. Twomey, LeBlanc & Conte truly is a one-stop shop, and Louis was reliable, thorough, and deeply committed to getting every detail right.
We also appreciated the clarity and fairness of the funeral packages. Unlike other places we visited, where we were presented with lengthy itemized lists that felt transactional and overwhelming, Louis’s approach was simple, transparent, and respectful. We felt genuinely supported and cared for not sold to.
We are forever grateful to Twomey, LeBlanc & Conte, and especially to Louis, for helping us say goodbye to our son in a way that was so meaningful and so beautifully done. Our deep and sincere gratitude for everything Louis and his team did for my family after the passing of my mother. From our first meeting the afternoon after her death through her service the following week, Louis provided clear, thoughtful guidance and recommendations, answered all of our questions in a timely manner, and accommodated our wishes, while being compassionate and supportive. Louie took care of my sister's arrangements. The service was peaceful & beautiful. Louie, although is family, was the ultimate professional. He made the process as seamless as possible. He consistently strived and was successful, to take away any stresses we were feeling. He recommended a florist for us that was wonderful and did a fantastic job. None of the perfection and professionalism was surprising to us as Louie also took care of my mom when she passed. My family could not be more thankful how supportive and caring he was/is. Thank you Louie for making this day as special as we hoped for.

The funeral services for my mom from the beginning to the end were beautifully done. Louie was a treasure, very helpful and thoughtful. He guided us every step of the way. Some of the relatives were not able to make the service so he was able to set us up with Zoom so they could participate. He made suggestions for the flowers that turned out so elegant. My family is native Newburyporters so we remember what the funeral home was originally as everybody was waked through Twomey's for generations. The renovations to the funeral home are beautifully done and truthfully an improvement. My sincerest thanks to Louie for what turned out to be a beautiful and memorable day.

When I contacted Louie to make an appointment, he was very kind. He told me what information I'd need to bring and when I arrived, he gently steered me through the process of making arrangements. Louie made it easy, answering all my questions and offering information I had not even considered. The day of my husband's wake, everything was perfect. I'll never forget Louie's sincerity and professionalism. He made a difficult day bearable.

I have been to and arranged for many funerals and wakes in my life. I have never found anyone better than Twomey-LeBlanc and Conte. I was amazed time and time again by Louie Hebbelinck's attention to detail and his ability to go above and beyond after the death of my mother. He is always one step ahead and arranges for things you had not even thought of. The refurbishment and renovations of the facility (designed by Mrs. Hebbelinck) are just beautiful and calming. TLC has my highest recommendation.

My husband and I wish to offer our sincerest thanks to Louis Hebbelinck (Louie). He went above and beyond in making our final goodbyes to my beloved mother, Ann Hickey, as stress-free as possible. Louie got everything right. He truly made a sad day bearable with his thoughtfulness, kindness, and attention to detail. By day's end, we knew we had made it through seamlessly, solely because of Louie's care. Thank you for everything Louie; you are excellent at your job.
