William “Lee” Kenney, Jr. 61, a resident of Amesbury died Sunday morning June 5, 2022 at High Pointe House in Haverhill. He was born in Methuen, MA on April 1, 1961 to the late William Paul Kenney, Sr. and Margaret (Moody) Kenney. William attended St. John’ Prep and was a graduate of North Andover High School.
He loved to play 45’s, fishing, golfing and discussing politics and sports with family and friends, he was also extremely devout to his Catholic faith. Lee was a kind gentle soul, very close to his parents and sister who he joins in heaven.
Lee is survived by his niece, Tawnya (Clancy) Ouellette and her husband Donald of Lawrence; great nieces, Skylar and Jayden Ouellette; as well as several cousins and friends. In addition to his parents William was predeceased by his sister, Mary Louise (Kenney) Clancy.
Lee’s family would like to thank the Vinfen Community for the exceptional care he received during his time with them, especially Laura and Kaleigh who went out of their way to make sure Lee was taken care of. They would also like to thank the High Pointe House in Haverhill for making his last days comfortable.

THERE IS NO LONGER ANY PARKING AVAILABLE BEHIND THE FUNERAL HOME PER ORDER OF THE CITY OF NEWBURYPORT. His Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 12:15 PM on Friday at Immaculate Conception Church, followed by burial at St. Mary’s Cemetery both in Newburyport.
