Vivian Amy LeBlanc, 73 died Friday May 1, 2020 at Portsmouth Regional Hospital from complications due to coronavirus. She was born in Newburyport on October 30, 1946 to the late Lionel and Jeannette (Cote) LeBlanc. Raised and educated in Newburyport she was a graduate of Newburyport High School.
Vivian was currently employed at the Elizabeth Calsey House in Amesbury, as a Personal Care Assistant. She enjoyed many years there taking care of the elderly who loved her dearly. She previously worked as a teller at 1st and Ocean Bank for many years, and also worked in the office at Stride Rite.
She enjoyed crossword puzzles, playing scrabble, and dining out with friends and family, as well as trips to the White Mountains. Above all she loved spending time with her family and her cats.
Vivian is survived by her sister, Aurelie Sauvan and her partner John Sauvan of Newburyport; niece, Denise Sarofian and her husband Barry of Raymond, NH; nephew, Michael Sauvan of Providence, RI; great nieces Amber Sarofian and Alexandrea Sherring and great nephew, Nicholas Sauvan; several cousins; and life long friend, Donna Boyd. She was predeceased by her siblings, Gerry LeBlanc and Jeannine Culbert.
Due to the current state of health affairs there was a private graveside service for Vivian’s family. The Twomey, LeBlanc, & Conte Funeral Home 193 High St. Newburyport, MA 01950 is assisting her family with her funeral arrangements.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in Vivian’s name to the Elizabeth Calsey House 15 Elizabeth Street Amesbury, MA 01913.
