Troy Alaimo, 38, of Danvers, MA, formerly of Haverhill and Newburyport, passed away peacefully on Monday September 4th, 2023 after a long and courageous battle with pulmonary fibrosis, surrounded by loved ones who will continue to honor his legacy by living their lives to the fullest.
Troy was born September 4th, 1985 in Newburyport, MA to Linda G. Langer and Charles (Chuck) Alaimo.
Troy, beloved fiancé, son, brother, friend, and dog dad is survived by the love of his life and fiancé, Katherine (Katie) Trujillo of Danvers; his mother, Linda G. Langer of Newburyport; his father, Charles (Chuck) Alaimo of Haverhill; his brother, Charles (Chuck) Alaimo Jr. of Chelmsford; his sister, Lonni Alaimo of Newburyport and dozens of extended family members, future in-laws, and close friends.
The simplest pleasures in life brought great joy to Troy. Troy is best remembered for having the biggest smile and an even bigger heart. His best day would look like spending time with his dog, Pistachio, and his friends and family at the beach, in his backyard, or watching any game with a Boston team playing. Troy’s personality and natural charisma ensured that his friends always felt like family and everyone knew that his door was always open. Troy’s passing leaves an unfillable gap in the hearts of his loved ones and he is already so missed.
A Celebration of Life will take place at Tuscan Sea Grill and Bar on Tuesday, September 12th, 2023 from 2-5 which is located at 38R Merrimac St, Newburyport, MA 01950. Troy’s favorite color was green and his fiancé and family would love for everyone to pay tribute to Troy’s memory by wearing something green to his Celebration of Life. The Twomey, LeBlanc, & Conte Funeral Home 193 High St. Newburyport, MA 01950 is assisting Troy’s family with his arrangements.
