Timothy M. Twomey

Timothy M. Twomey, 64 passed away after battling an illness June 20, 2022 at his home alongside his family.

Born in Newburyport Massachusetts, he was the son of Edward and Georgia Twomey. He attended Whittier High School and studied diesel mechanics. Tim worked as a Heavy Equipment Operator for 40+ years & had just retired. 

He enjoyed riding his motorcycle, Camaro, and Corvette, letting off fire works, going to the shooting range and watching the Red Sox and Celtics with his daughter. He will be remembered as a hardworking, caring, and strong man. 

He is survived by his daughter Tiffany Twomey of Danville, NH; his grandson, Kaylow Vasquez; parents, Edward and Georgia Twomey, of Newburyport; sister Deborah Naudzunas and her husband Andrew Naudzunas of Atkinson, NH; brother, Jeffery Twomey and his wife Barbara of Marietta, GA; as well as several cousins, nieces, and nephews. Tim is predeceased by his wife Beverly Twomey. 

Family and friends may call from 4:00 to 8:00 PM on Friday June 24, 2022 at the Twomey, LeBlanc, & Conte Funeral Home 193 High St. Newburyport, MA 01950. Tim’s Funeral Service will be celebrated at 10:00 AM in the Funeral Home on Saturday June 25, 2022, followed by burial at St. Mary’s Cemetery. THERE IS NO LONGER ANY PARKING AVAILABLE BEHIND THE FUNERAL HOME PER ORDER OF THE CITY OF NEWBURYPORT.
