Timothy Walter Johnson

Hampton Fall, NH – Timothy “Tim” Walter Johnson, 62, of Hampton Falls passed away suddenly on Saturday, November 12, 2022.  He was born on December 19, 1959, in Newburyport, MA to the late Albert and Helen (Carey) Johnson. 

Tim was raised in Salisbury and attended Triton Regional High School.  After school, Tim began his long career in the family business, Johnson Lumber Co. His career spanned over 40 years, during which time he became an owner and President of the company. 

Tim had many friends and enjoyed life.  He loved spending time at his camp on Merrymeeting Lake, which was his favorite place when not at work. Most of all Tim loved spending time with his children and grandchildren. An avid sports fan, he enjoyed playing golf and watching sports, attending concerts and socializing with his lifelong friends, and he never missed a work out at the gym. He will be deeply missed by everyone. 

He leaves behind his loving fiancé Michelle Toby, his son, Matthew Johnson, grandchildren, Jack, Fiona, Liam, and Jameson Johnson, and daughter Kristen “Krissy” Johnson, extended children Cassandra Lehtola (Brad), Timothy Toby, (Emmalina) and grandchildren, Kari, Xander and Ellyana. He also leaves behind siblings, Kathleen (Dana) Poulin, Cynthia Martin, Patricia (Tom) Bascom, Michael Johnson, prior wife Carol Johnson, and many nieces and nephews,  friends and relatives. 

Visiting hours will be from 4:00 to 7:00 P.M. Thursday, November 17, 2022 at the Twomey, LeBlanc, & Conte Funeral Home, 193 High Street, Newburyport, MA.  His Funeral Mass will be held at 10:30 A.M Friday, November 18, 2022 at the Star of the Sea Parish, 18 Beach Road, Salisbury, MA. Burial will be private at a later date.
