Susan Michelle "Shelli" (Cotta) Harvey

Susan Michelle “Shelli” Harvey, 52, passed away on Friday, March 24, 2023, at Lahey Hospital surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Manchester, NH on June 24, 1970 to Anthony and Loretta Cotta. She grew up in Plymouth, MA and lived in Newburyport, MA, Amesbury, MA, and Salisbury, MA until her passing.

Shelli was an avid dancer in her early life. She started and owned Duxbury Dance Studio in Duxbury, MA, until she sold it to move to Newburyport with her family. She taught classes at the Fitness Factory in Newburyport, MA, and competed in local bodybuilding competitions. Later in life she became a caregiver for the elderly and disabled, working in group settings and with individuals. Shelli had a deep passion for helping others and a personality/sense of humor that set her apart from others in the best way. She loved cuddling on the couch with her dog, Rocky, walking on the beach, and watching fireworks from her doorstep in the summer.

Shelli is survived by her parents, Anthony Francis Cotta & Loretta Susan Cotta of Plymouth, MA, and by her brother, Anthony Cairns Cotta of Plymouth, MA. She is also survived by her children, Brent Harvey and his wife Rachael Harvey of Somersworth, NH, and Cora Harvey of Seabrook, NH. She is also survived by her dog Rocky.
