Stephen E. Pelletier, Sr. “Froggy” of Newburyport passed away on October 14th, 2020 at Beth Israel after a brief illness.
Stephen was born December 15, 1953 to the late Irene (Davis) Pelletier and Joseph Pelletier. Stephen is survived by his wife of 44 years, Patricia (Bradbury) Pelletier. He is also survived by his three children; Stephen Pelletier Jr. and fiancée Angela Pagdilao of Newburyport, Brooke Pelletier and fiancé James Smith of Haverhill, and daughter Melanie Pelletier. He leaves behind 9 grandchildren; Taylor, Matty, Hunter, Joseph, Kami, Star, James, Raven and Halley. He also leaves behind two great-grand children. He was pre-deceased by his sisters Patty Pelletier and Joanie Eaton. He is survived by his sisters, Irene Cox and her husband Ronald, Dianne Perron and her husband Ronald “Hunka”. He is survived by his brothers; Mike Pelletier, John “Butch” Pelletier and wife Sheila. He leaves behind many nieces and nephews.
He graduated from Newburyport High School and went on to serve in the US Army as well as the National Guard. He was a machinist until his retirement two years ago. He was a member of The Patriot Riders of MA and the American Legion Riders of NH.
Stephen believed in living life to the fullest. He enjoyed fishing, camping, grilling, family vacations, motorcycles, football and was an avid Patriots fan. He loved life and some of his favorite ways to spend his time was at Foxwoods, and grilling with family and friends while drinking warm beer. He loved to use his debit card and spend money. Riding his motorcycle brought him happiness. He deeply loved his grandchildren and they affectionately named him “Papa”. He was a fun loving grandfather who was open to anything and was often mistaken for one of the kids.
Family and friends may call from 4:00 to 7:00 PM on Monday October 19, 2020 at the Twomey, LeBlanc, & Conte Funeral Home 193 High St. Newburyport, MA 01950. THERE IS NO LONGER ANY PARKING AVAILABLE BEHIND THE FUNERAL HOME PER ORDER OF THE CITY OF NEWBURYPORT. His Funeral Service and burial will be private.
