Stanley “Dusty” Adam Hull III, 73, of Salisbury and formerly of Gloucester, died peacefully at home on the early morning of Monday, Oct 23, 2023.
Born in Fitchburg, Ma on March 7, 1950, he was adopted by the late Stanley A. Hull Jr and the late Lucille R. Hull Kelleher. He was a graduate of Hamilton-Wenham High School, Class of 1968 and attended Boston University. Dusty was an entrepreneur, general contractor and specialized in kitchen design in the later part of his 40-year career.
Dusty was a true outdoorsman, an extreme skier, avid birdwatcher, surfer, hiker and loved nothing more than to teach and share his passions with his family. He was a self-taught gourmet chef, where you would find stacks of cookbooks and food magazines on his coffee table. Being a grandfather brought special joy to his life.
He is survived by his loving and devoted wife, Christine G. Hull, Salisbury MA, his sister, Deborah Hull McDonough, Jupiter FL, his brother Jeffery Hull, Amsterdam, Netherlands and daughters, Kristina Keogh and husband Lewis Keogh, Newburyport MA, and Jaclyn Savastra and husband Michael Savastra, Newburyport MA. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren, Owen and Ellis Keogh, Lucia, Michael and Francis Savastra; and brother and sister in laws, Frank and Donna Aiello, Gloucester MA and Phillip and Candy Curcuru, Gloucester MA as well as many nieces and nephews.
The family would like to extend gratitude to Dusty’s personal care assistant Susan Zangari, Lynn, Ma for the outstanding care and adventures she provided.
A Celebration of Life will be held at The Gloucester Fraternity Club, 27 Webster Street, Gloucester MA from 1-4pm on Friday, Nov. 10, 2023. The Twomey, LeBlanc, & Conte Funeral Home 193 High St. Newburyport, MA 01950 is assisting Mr. Hull’s family with his arrangements.
