It is with the heaviest of hearts that we share that Seth David Schulman of Newburyport passed away unexpectedly of natural causes on May 3rd, 2022. A dad to everyone who had the pleasure of knowing him, Seth was dedicated to making those around him feel loved and empowered and was always there to lend an ear.
Seth greatly valued his continued friendships with those he met during his earlier years in Brooklyn and at Tilden and Midwood and brought many smiles with his constant positivity and jokes. A graduate of SUNY Stony Brook with a degree in Theater Arts, Seth was an avid lover of music and supported many bands as a bassist throughout his lifetime. Seth served as a program director at the Institute for Family Life Learning and fostered children in need for many years before adjusting his focus to law with James Sandman and lastly Landman, Akashian & Macklow.
Seth is survived by his daughter Samantha-Corrie Schulman, chosen children Amanda Cox, Geoffrey MacDonald, Michael Cappezzuto and Matthew Roberts, brothers Kevin and Perry Werbel, his chosen brothers Norman Good, Joe Messina and Joe Muro, as well as countless other chosen children and grandchildren. Seth will be eternally missed as a fixture in the lives of everyone that knew him.
Services are scheduled for Sunday, May 8, 2022 at 3:00 pm at Congregation Ahavas Achim, 53 1/2 Washington St, Newburyport, MA 01950. The Twomey, LeBlanc, & Conte Funeral Home is assisting mr. Schulman’s family with his arrangements.
