With broken hearts, William and Sheila Kennedy sadly announce the passing of their beloved son Sean on April 27, 2026. Sean is survived by his loving sister Kacie (Fyrberg) and her husband Deke, and his favorite people on Earth, nieces Grace and Emerson and nephew Teddy. Sean is also survived by his devoted and loving partner Stacy Weeden, and their adored cat Ravioli.
The most important thing to Sean was his family. Our game nights with Uncle Sean’s silly antics will be cherished forever. He also loved his family on Cape Cod, California, and a few extended relations in Ireland. Oh how he loved those family trips to Disney World, Ireland, California, and our favorite group trip to Hawaii. It was all about spending quality time with loved ones.
As parents, we will fondly remember those first steps, his protective claws once his sister Kacie was born and deservedly so forever more, how Sean excelled in school, the joy he took in being part of Lexington/Bedford Youth Hockey and Bedford Little League, prom nights at Arlington Catholic, his personal joy in being an accomplished drummer, the pride he took in becoming an Uncle to Grace, Teddy, and Emme, and of course the caring of his best animal buddy Thatcher, his beloved rescue pup. We are so happy Sean and Stacy found each other in life, and we will be eternally grateful for the unwavering love and support she blessed him with.
Aloha Sean – you will be in our hearts forever.
Funeral services will be private, with a Celebration of Life to be held at a later date. The Twomey, LeBlanc, & Conte Funeral Home 193 High St. Newburyport, MA 01950 is assisting Sean’s family with his arrangements.
In his memory, any desired contributions can be made in his name to the MSPCA (350 Huntington Ave., Boston, MA 02130), in support of Sean’s dedication to the well-being of animals, and for all the dogs he loved, cared for, and trained.
