Ruth A. (Henderson) Robitaille

Ruth A. Robitaille, 84, died Sunday morning July 28, 2019 at Beverly Hospital. She was born in Newburyport on July 19, 1935 to the late George and Theodora (Upton) Henderson. Raised and educated in Newburyport, Ruth was a graduate of Newburyport High School.

Following her graduation Ruth began working with her father in the family business, Coffee Time on Inn St. in Newburyport, followed by Ruthies Diner in Newburyport. She was then employed by Microfab in Amesbury for a time before opening the Rutlin Coffee Shop in Hampton Falls where Ruth made the “Best Breakfast Around” until her retirement in 1995.

She enjoyed trips to Foxwoods and time spent with her loving family.

Ruth is survived by her  husband, William Robitaille of Newbury; children, Linda Morrill and her husband John of Virginia Beach, William G. Robitaille and his wife Louise of Newbury, and Lisa Fabian and her husband Mike of Center Tuftonboro; grandchildren, Michael, Amanda, Michelle, Jenny, Robert, Jeremy and Ryan; 13 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Ruth’s family has requested that services and burial will be private. The Twomey, LeBlanc, & Conte Funeral Home 193 High St. Newburyport, MA 01950 is assisting with Mrs. Robitaille’s funeral arrangements.
