Obituary
Roland E. Anderson, of Salisbury, MA passed away on Saturday, September 9, 2023, at the age of 79 after an extended period of declining health.
Born in Lynn on January 28, 1944, Roland worked as a pipe coverer until his retirement. He then devoted his time to his bait shop, Tim’s Bait, on Beach Rd in Salisbury. He spent many years supplying bait to fishermen from the local area, a place where he, his children, and grandchildren loved to spend time.
Roland leaves behind his daughter Wendy Breidel and her husband John of Port Charlotte, FL, and his sons Tim and his wife Missy of Amesbury, Kevin and his wife Christina of Salisbury, and Dennis of Salisbury, along with his brother John Anderson of Suncook, NH. He also leaves behind seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Roland was predeceased by his parents John and Anna, and his sister Sharon Anderson.
Family and friends may call on Thursday September 14, 2023 from 4:00 to 8:00 PM at the Twomey, LeBlanc, & Conte Funeral Home 193 High St. Newburyport, MA 01950. Rolands Funeral Service will be held in the Funeral Home on Friday September 15, 2023 at 10:00 AM, followed by burial at Oakhill Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers a donation may be made in Roland’s memory to the MSPCA.
