Robert Duncan “Bob” Glendon, born on April 26, 1969, in Winchester, Massachusetts, passed away peacefully on May 24, 2026 surrounded by his family. He was a loving, funny, and friendly man whose warmth and easygoing nature touched everyone who knew him.
Bob was raised with strong values and a deep sense of family and community. He attended Melrose High School and later graduated from the University of New Hampshire, where he built the foundation for a life marked by hard work, loyalty, and genuine connection with others. He carried those qualities throughout his life and into every relationship he formed.
A respected businessman and leader, Bob served as President and CEO and founded Priority Leasing in Melrose in 1997. Through dedication, perseverance, and vision, he built the company into a meaningful part of his professional life until his retirement. Those who worked with him knew him as someone who led with integrity, humor, and a steady hand. He took pride in his work and in the relationships he developed along the way.
Bob lovingly raised his beautiful daughters, Jordan and Camryn, alongside Jennifer Palmer Glendon in Boxford, Massachusetts. A devoted father, he treasured time spent with family and friends and was a familiar face at weekend sports games, gatherings, and community events. During those years, he also enjoyed participating in local men’s softball and hockey leagues, building lifelong friendships and memories through the sports he loved.
Bob found joy in simple pleasures and cherished the moments that brought people together. He especially loved karaoke, particularly at Uncle Eddie’s and the Hideaway Pub in Salisbury, where he spent many memorable nights with friends and his loving partner, Cassandra. He also enjoyed spending time at the beach, traveling to the Caribbean, and cheering on the Patriots, always with enthusiasm and heart.
He will be lovingly remembered by his daughters, Jordan and Camryn Glendon of Salisbury, and by his longtime partner, Cassandra Barrasso of Salisbury. He is also survived by his devoted parents, Yvonne Bourget Glendon and Robert J. Glendon, his siblings, Jennifer Southworth and her husband Greg of Scarborough, Maine, and Christopher Glendon and his wife Camille of North Andover, as well as many nieces and nephews who brought him great pride and happiness.
Bob’s life was one of devotion, laughter, and friendship. He had a gift for making people feel welcome and valued, and he leaves behind countless memories that will be treasured by his family and friends. His presence will be deeply missed, but the love he shared and the joy he brought to others will remain in the hearts of all who knew him.
