KAUFMAN, Richard Paul, Age 73 born in Brooklyn, New York, passed away on June 12, 2022 in Dover, New Hampshire surrounded by his family.
Richard is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Judith, daughters Allyson Kaufman, Rachel Ginsburg and her husband, Jason Ginsburg, and son, Benjamin Kaufman and his wife Hillary Kaufman, sister Suzanne Cipriano and her husband James Cipriano and grandchildren Jacob, Weiler and Ellie.
Richard was a dedicated father who led by his morals and beliefs and taught his children the same values.
He retired from ARAMARK Corporation in 2008. Richard developed strong and long-lasting friendships. His love for travel took him to Barcelona, London, Ireland, Italy, Greece, South Korea and many famous golf courses and national parks in the US.
Richard was passionate about sports and this is where his competitive nature came through in all that he did. He loved playing and watching golf, playing cards with family and friends. Richard loved rooting on his beloved New York Yankees and New York Giants. He was always willing to try anything new and the first one out on the dance floor! Richard had a great sense of humor and was always ready with a witty come back.
Above all, Richard was proud of his family. He loved his wife, kids and their spouses, grandkids and extended family with his whole heart. His love showed in his continual guidance and unwavering support. Richard will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
Family and friends may call from 3:00 to 6:00 PM on Friday, June 17, 2022 at the Twomey, LeBlanc, & Conte Funeral Home 193 High St. Newburyport, MA 01950. THERE IS NO LONGER ANY PARKING AVAILABLE BEHIND THE FUNERAL HOME PER ORDER OF THE CITY OF NEWBURYPORT. The family will have a private burial at Pine Grove Cemetery in Salem, NH at a later date.
