Raymond F. White

Raymond F. White, 81 of Newburyport passed away peacefully in his sleep on Saturday July 14, 2018.

He was born in Lynnfield, MA on January 1, 1937 one of five children of the late Walter F. and Caroline (Betrand) White.   After graduating from Georgetown High School, he served with the United States Army in the Korean War.  He retired from Mass Electric as a lineman after more than 40 years.

Ray enjoyed football, baseball, basketball, softball and volleyball.  He took pride in his German Shepherds Dusty, Max and Fritz but most of all Ray loved spending time with his beloved family.

Those left behind to treasure the gift of his life include his loving wife of 58 years Dolores (Pace), his daughters Christine Dixon and Alisa Cote and her husband Eugene, grandchildren Kimberly and Kelly Dixon, Lexi, Sam and Gabby Cote and many nieces and nephews.  He was predeceased by his brothers and sister.

Funeral services and burial will be private for the family with a celebration of life at a later date. The Twomey, LeBlanc, & Conte Funeral Home is assisting Mr. White’s family with his funeral arrangements.
