Philip Poulin, 77, of Newburyport, MA died December 3, 2023 at Brigham Health & Rehab Center.
He was born on October 4, 1946 in Newburyport, MA to Agatha (Jennings) Poulin and George H. Poulin, Jr.
Phil worked in the kitchen of Anna Jacques Hospital for many years, retaining a friendship throughout his life with coworkers from that time.
He was an avid sports fan, following all the Boston teams, and had a vast knowledge of players names and stats. He was also a skillful bowler and won many bowling trophies and awards. He loved to quote the Three Stooges with his brothers.
Phil is survived by his sister, Mary (Poulin) Borin of Topsfield and his brother, Mark and wife, Denise Poulin of Amesbury, many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews, as well as his close friend, Jan Kolman, who was a great friend to Phil and took good care of him over many years. He was preceded in death by his parents, George & Agatha Poulin, his brother, Christopher Poulin, and his brother, Joseph Poulin.
Family and friends may call from 9:00 to 11:00 AM on Thursday December 7, 2023 at the Twomey, LeBlanc, & Conte Funeral Home 193 High St. Newburyport, MA 01950. His Funeral Service will follow at 11:00 in the Funeral Home, with burial at St. Joseph’s Cemetery in Amesbury.
