Paula N. (Estabrooks) Pearson

Paula N. Pearson, 66, passed away suddenly on January 11, 2020 at her home in Byfield.  Paula was born on August 7, 1953 and is predeceased by her beloved parents, Raymond and Patricia (Donahue) Estabrooks.  She was raised and educated in Newburyport, MA, and settled in Byfield shortly after marrying Kevin Pearson in 1971.

Paula’s shining accomplishment was raising her children and taking care of her family.   

Their house was constantly the center of activity for all of the neighborhood children, and Paula was at her happiest when she was right in the middle of it.  She was kind, outgoing, loved to laugh and was always available when someone needed a helping hand.

Later in life, Paula enjoyed entering dog shows with her faithful companion, Jade, and proud of the many awards and ribbons they won.  Above all, she felt extremely blessed to be a grandmother and the pride and joy her 4 grandchildren brought her was always apparent.

Paula is survived by her husband Kevin Pearson of Byfield; her children Kellie Kelley of Byfield, Stephen Pearson of Byfield, and Katie Belfiore and her husband Kevin of Haverhill; grandchildren Emileah Kelley, James Kelley, Rocco Belfiore and Anthony Belfiore; as well as several nieces and nephews, close friends and family members.

Family and friends are invited to call at the Twomey, LeBlanc & Conte Funeral Home, 193 High Street, Newburyport, MA from 10:00am – noon on Saturday, January 18, followed by her Funeral service at noon in the funeral home, with burial following at St. Mary’s Cemetery in Newburyport.

Please note:  there is no longer parking available behind the funeral home per order of the City of Newburyport.

A celebration of life will be held at the Sylvan Street Grille in Salisbury from 1-4pm, all are welcome.
