Patricia (Simon) Howard

Patricia Howard, 78, passed away on Wednesday February 17, 2021 at Mount Auburn Hospital in Cambridge, MA. She was born in Exeter, NH on July 22, 1942 to the late William J. and Geneva (Brown) Simon, and was a graduate of Exeter High School. She was raised in Kensington and worked at her families restaurant, Queensbridge Farms in Kensington. She took bookkeeping courses and worked for several local companies until her retirement in 2007.

She enjoyed gardening and was especially fond of growing roses. She also enjoyed writing short stories in her spare time.

Patricia is survived by her daughter, Melinda Howard of Newbury; brothers, William Simon and his wife Patricia of Meredith, NH, and Alan Simon of Gardner, ME; as well as several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her son John Howard in 2020.

Due to Covid protocols a graveside service will be announced at a later date. The Twomey, LeBlanc, & Conte Funeral Home 193 High St. Newburyport, MA 01950 is assisting Mrs. Howard’s family with her arrangements.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in her name to the MSPCA at Nevins Farm 400 Broadway Methuen, MA 01844 or the Merrimack River Feline Rescue 63 Elm St, Salisbury, MA 01952.
