Nady Rampelbergh-Peters Obituary

It is with the greatest of sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved wife, daughter, sister, aunt, sister-in-law, and friend Nady Rampelbergh-Peters, at the age of 60 years.  Nady passed away suddenly on June 5, 2023 doing what she loved most: spending time with her world-champion Western dressage horse, Nero. As a native of Belgium, Nady immigrated to the US at 20 years of age, earned a Bachelors of Science in Business Administration from the College of Charleston in South Carolina and a Masters in International Business Studies from the Darla Moore School of Business at the University of South Carolina. With her husband, Richard, she moved to Boston, MA where she embarked on a successful career in the information technology industry before setting up her own consulting business. A passionate animal lover, Nady founded Mint For Mounts, a non-profit organization that rescued horses in need and working horses. She also adopted cats and dogs in need of a loving home.  Her passion was everything related to the equestrian world: she became a nationally recognized champion both in English and Western dressage and served on the Boards of multiple equestrian clubs and organizations, including serving as President of the Western Dressage Association of America – New England Affiliate and former President of the West Newbury Riding and Driving Club.

She was the most kind, empathic, and positive person you could ever meet.  Her sincere, giant smile would light any room and lift any spirit up like a bright ray of morning sunshine.

Nady is survived by her husband Dr. Richard Peters of West Newbury with whom she shared 40 years of blissful marriage.  She is also survived by her adoring family members: her parents Willy Rampelbergh and Jenny Wolters of Belgium; her sisters Ryanne, Nancy, and Joselyn Rampelbergh; her brothers-in-law Bernard Peters, Danny Wyffels and Geert Sambaer; her nieces Stephanie Pollie, Elsy and Kay Wyffels, Evi Pollie, and Isabelle Peters and her nephews Dimitri Pollie, Alexandre Peters, Kevin Wyffels and Sybren Sambaer.  She leaves behind her beloved animals: Nero, Legend, Rory, Tequila, and Tornado.

The family of Nady Rampelbergh-Peters invites you to celebrate her life on June 20 at Groveland Fairways on 156 Main Street in Groveland, MA.  The Celebration will begin at 4pm, followed by presentations at 5pm, and a light reception buffet dinner at 6pm.  Spring dress code in memory of Nady’s bright smile!
