In her free time she enjoyed reading, Mila always had at hand a great novel , National Geographic or decorating magazine. In recent years ,she became the family's Official Movie Critic and could be counted on to recommend a great movie or two .

Mila loved trying out adventurous new meals and enjoyed teaching her daughters the fine arts of  traditional Filipino cooking.

Her  love of travel,  took her to many countries from Scotland , France,  to US travels  in Las Vegas  and Canada.

A collector of antiques, she passed on this appreciation to all  her children.

Gardening , however is where Mila found her solace. As recent as last month, she spent an afternoon with her grandson planting roses in her garden.
