Maureen “Kitty” Goodrich, passed away Friday January 12, 2024 at Anna Jaques Hospital in Newburyport. She was born in Newburyport on July 11, 1930 to the late James E. and Laura (Francour) Curley. She attended Immaculate Conception Grammar School and was a graduate of Newburyport, High School.
She was employed for a time at Hytron as well as Dash-Electric before her many years at AT&T as an inspector until her retirement.
Kitty was an active member of the Old South Church in Newburyport. She enjoyed traveling and visited several Native American Reservations, Isreal, Ireland, England, Scotland, Hawaii, and many destinations in the United States.
Maureen is survived by her daughters, Melinda Goodrich of Salisbury, and Michelle Boyd of Bradford; grandchildren, Tabitha, Kayla, Megen, and Candace Walker; nieces, Karen Coombs and Denise Stebbins; as well as several great nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her former husband Frank E. Goodrich
Family and friends may call on Thursday January 18, 2024 from 1:00 to 2:00 PM at the Old South Church 29 Federal St. Newburyport, her Funeral Service will follow the in the Church at 2:00 PM. Burial will be private at a later date. The Twomey, LeBlanc, & Conte Funeral Home 193 High St. Newburyport, MA 01950 is assisting Mrs. Goodrich’s family with her arrangements.
Memorial contributions may be made in Mrs. Goodrich’s name to the the Old South Church in Newburyport.
