Maura A. Doyle

Maura A. Doyle, 66, passed away Wednesday afternoon August 16, 2023 at Chestnut Woods Rehabilitation & Healthcare Center in Saugus, MA. She was born in Newburyport on July 11, 1957 to the late Norman and Marjorie (Sheridan) Doyle. Maura was a graduate of Newburyport High School Class of 75, she continued her education graduating from Green Mountain College in VT with her Bachelors Degree in English Literature. During her college years Maura Enlisted in the VT National Guard reaching the rank of E4 Specialist.

She was employed for several years as a Sales Representative for many pet food companies, before becoming a Dog Groomer until her retirement. She was also a breeder of English Springer Spaniels for decades.

Maura loved watching the Red Sox and Patriots, either on TV or at the game. She enjoyed traveling, living on the Cape and spending time on Plum Island.

Maura is survived by her nephews, Robert LaMontagne and his wife Stacy of Salem, MA, Terrance Doyle and his wife Courtney of Jamaica Plain, and Sean Doyle of Portsmouth, NH; grand niece, Alexis LaMontagne; sister in law, Barbara Doyle of Portsmouth; and partner, Dr. Christine Lamson of Saugus. She was predeceased by her siblings, Kathleen LaMontagne and Kevin Doyle.

Family and friends may call from 5:00 to 7:00 PM on Thursday August 24, 2023 at the Twomey, LeBlanc, & Conte Funeral Home 193 High St. Newburyport, MA 01950. Services and burial will be private.
