Marie Joyce (McAndrew) Stolarski

Marie Joyce Stolarski, 91, of Merrimac, MA, passed away on Monday, September 23, 2024, surrounded by her loving family. She lived a fulfilling life, spreading joy and positivity wherever she went. Joyce was born on August 7, 1933, in Boston, MA, to John and Gertrude McAndrew. She was a proud graduate of Howe High School Class of 1951. She was captain of her basketball team.

Joyce went on to have a successful career at B&M Railroad, Parkman Chiropractic Clinic, Laurie A. Ebacher Esqurie, and H&R Block.

She found solace and purpose in her passion for gardening, crafting, and volunteering at Holy Redeemer in Merrimac. Joyce also enjoyed theater performances with her friends and frequently visited the Merrimac Senior Center, finding joy and fulfillment in her activities.

Joyce married Ignacy “Iggy” Stolarski in 1959 and they lived in Newburyport until his passing. Joyce is survived by her children, Lisa Olsson and her husband Stephen Olsson of N. Billerica, MA, and Jon Stolarski and his wife Debra Stolarski of Merrimac, MA, as well as her four beloved grandchildren, Kirsten Olsson, Ross Olsson, Nicole Stolarski, and Cory Stolarski.  Joyce is survived by her brother John McAndrew Jr. and his wife Eleanor McAndrew of N. Billerica,MA and sister Sharon Lekas of Plaistow, NH.

Family and friends may call from 9:00 to 11:00 AM on Saturday September 28, 2024 at the Twomey, LeBlanc, & Conte Funeral Home. Her Funeral Mass will follow at 11:30 AM at Holy Redeemer Nativity Church in Merrimac, followed by burial at St. Mary’s Cemetery in Newburyport.
