Marie "Verna" (McCarthy) Hartman

Maria V. Hartman, known by everyone as “Verna”, a resident of Seabrook, NH passed away after a lengthy illness on January 17, 2023.  She was 88 years of age.

She was predeceased by her husband Matthew “Doc” Sierak and survived by sons, Keith, Kevin, Barry, and daughter, Sherri.

Verna retired from The Division of Employment Security after more than 25 years of service.

In her later years, she most enjoyed dancing, getting together with friends, particularly with life-long friend June, Irene and Margie, going to the beach and taking long walks with Maureen. 

Family and friends may call on Tuesday, January 24, 2023 from 9:00 to 11:00 AM at the Twomey, LeBlanc, & Conte Funeral Home 193 High St. Newburyport, MA 01950, followed by her Funeral Mass at 11:30 AM at Immaculate Conception Church and burial in Rowley Cemetery.
