Margaret Leary

Margaret Leary, 75, died Wednesday afternoon November 20, 2024 at High Pointe House in Haverhill. She was born on November 14, 1949 in Tewksbury, MA . She was the daughter of the  late C. Francis and Marie B. (Levesque) Leary and raised in Newburyport and was a graduate of Newburyport High School class of 1968.

In her early years Margaret was a waitress for several years. Margaret was married to her first husband Anthony Jeuvelis. She then was a stay at home mother to raise her son Paul. She was also married to Richard Szymura. The couple enjoyed many happy years together. Margaret enjoyed skiing, camping, knitting, and especially dancing and helping out at her aunt's Margaret Leary Dancing Studio.

Margaret is survived by her son, Paul Jeuvelis of Salisbury; sister, Anne Marie Simpson of Georgia; as well as cousins, nieces, nephews, and many cousins in Canada. She also leaves behind her special friend Wanda Traister. She was pre deceased by her brothers, Francis D. and Joseph Leary.

Arrangements were made by the Twomey, LeBlanc, & Conte Funeral Home 193 High St. Newburyport, MA 01950. Burial will be private at a later date.
