Louise A. (Wood) LaValley

Louise A. LaValley, 82, born and raised and was a lifelong resident of Newburyport MA died Sunday September 13th, 2020. Born May 22nd 1938 to Alice L. (Blaisdell) Wood of Newburyport MA.

Louise worked as a crossing guard at the Old Kelley School in Newburyport, but she was best known for being a loving babysitter to many children whom she adored.

Louise was predeceased by her husband William R. LaValley Sr. whom she spent many wonderful years with, and grandson whom she raised as her own since birth Matthew R. Valli who died September 14th, 2001.

Louise is survived by her children Pam Walton and husband Greg, Heidi Cote of NH, William R. LaValley Jr., Tina Junkins and husband David, Troy LaValley, Danny LaValley and wife Tarra all of Newburyport, and Amy Valli her granddaughter whom she raised as her own since birth, and extended family Jennifer Cantrell of Newburyport. Grandchildren, Hope and Justin Walton, David, Steven, and Jeffrey Cote, Amanda, Tiffany Gardener and Ryan LaValley, David Junkins Jr., Travis and Macey LaValley and Michael L’Italien, Gaven, Tyler and Nicholas LaValley, Ryan and Jason Cantrell, and several great grandchildren.

Services and burial at St. Mary’s Cemetery will be private at a later date. The Twomey, LeBlanc, & Conte Funeral Home 193 High St. Newburyport, MA 01950 is assisting Mrs. LaValley’s family with her funeral arrangements.
