Linda M. (Cote) Kennedy

Linda Kennedy (Cote), 69, of Newbury, MA, formerly of Avon, CT, Jupiter, FL, and Hartford, CT, passed away on October 6, 2023 with her husband Bill by her side.

Linda is survived by her loving husband, William “Bill”, of Newbury, MA who was her biggest fan, her strongest support and all around best friend. She is also survived by her daughter, Megan, and her husband, Rob, along with their children Lucie (12), Evan (9), and Bobby (3), who brought immense joy to her life.

In addition to her immediate family, Linda is survived by her devoted sisters, Ann Tetreault of Plainville, CT, and Renne Morales and her husband, Mike, of Wethersfield, CT. and her mother, Phelime Cote of Wethersfield, CT. 

Linda's love extended far beyond her immediate family, as she leaves behind a vast network of beloved nieces, nephews, cousins, lifelong friends, and new acquaintances who were touched by her vibrant spirit. She had a remarkable ability to forge connections and leave a lasting impact on everyone she met.

Linda was a fierce protector of her family, always putting their well-being above all else. Her relentless pursuit of knowledge, insatiable curiosity, and intense passion for learning were truly remarkable. She was a die-hard supporter of the underdog, championing causes close to her heart with unwavering conviction.

Unapologetically herself, Linda was a force of nature and a beacon of light to all who knew her. Her vibrant personality, compassionate heart, and strong-willed nature will be remembered and cherished by those who had the privilege of sharing in her journey.

As we bid farewell to Linda, we will remember her as the beautiful, vibrant, and joyful person she was. Her legacy of strength, resilience, and love will endure for generations to come.

A celebration of life will be held at Sunset Club at 4 Old Point Road, Newbury, MA between 3:00pm-6:00pm on Friday October 20, 2023. Linda’s family welcome anyone that would like to join, just to stop in or to linger for a while over fond memories. The Twomey, LeBlanc & Conte Funeral Home 193 High St. Newburyport, MA 01950 is assisting Mrs. Kennedy’s family with her arrangements.
