Leroy Francis Fowler, Jr. died Sunday November 13, 2022 at Beth Israel Hospital in Boston. He was born in Newburyport on November 11, 1967 to the late Janet (Heywood) and Leroy F. Fowler, Sr. Leroy was raised and educated in Newburyport and was a graduate of Whittier Tech.
Following his graduation Leroy began his career. A “Jack of all Trades” he owned and operated Fowler Home Improvement and Roofing for many years before his semi-retirement in 2015.
In his spare time he loved riding his motorcycle, playing Keno, and searching out yard sales. He also loved spending time with his dogs, Springer, Keno, and Salt.
Leroy is survived by his sons, Leroy F. Fowler, III and his wife Dallas of Seabrook, and Owen Fowler; siblings, Annette Brady and her husband David of Amesbury, Kelly Smith of Amesbury, Tammy Carbone and her husband Robert of Salisbury, Melissa Burt and her husband Christopher of Amesbury, and Douglas Fowler and his wife Christine of Newburyport; grandson, Leo Fowler; godson, William Eaton, Jr. of Salisbury; as well as many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his lifelong partner Julie Hawkins.
Family and friends may call from 4:00 to 7:00 PM on Friday November 18, 2022 at the Twomey, LeBlanc, & Conte Funeral Home 193 High St. Newburyport, MA 01950. His Funeral Services and burial will be private at a later date.
