Judith Elaine (Page) Fuller passed away on January 19, 2024, surrounded by loving family after a long battle with Parkinson’s Disease. Judy was the daughter of Warren Page and Anne (Daley) Page, born in Newburyport, MA on September 19, 1946, and lived and worked in the city she loved for her entire life.
Judy lived a full life always with love in her heart, deeply touching many of those around her as a beloved mother, grandmother, wife, sister, aunt, teacher, and friend. She was an avid reader, cook, baker and an organizer of gatherings for family and friends. She also enjoyed book club, golf and tennis and had many other creative talents. She was blessed with many loving and supportive family members and great friends, with whom she made so many great memories. Judy was always generous with her time and willing to help others. She loved to travel, exploring much of New England on summer family camping trips, and cherished family trips to Walt Disney World, many travels with siblings and lifelong friends on all sorts of adventures, and trips to Australia to visit her daughter’s family.
Judy graduated from Newburyport High School in 1964, where she met her husband Roger, and then from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst School of Education. She was a dedicated and highly regarded teacher for 32 years in the Newburyport Public Schools, most of which were spent at the Belleville/Bresnahan School as a 4th grade teacher. She instilled a love of learning and reading in generations of students, and received the prestigious Molin Award in 1999 in honor of her teaching accomplishments.
Judy is survived by her husband of 54 years, Roger Fuller; her daughter Gretchen Yates, son-in-law David, and their children Bruce and Katelyn of Perth, Australia; her son Nathan Fuller, daughter-in-law Robyn, and their children Wilson, Isabella, Olivia, and Wren of Arlington, MA; her sister Leslie Childs and husband Les; brother Rick Page and wife Susan; brother Robert Page; sister Patti Reardon and husband Neil; sister Mary Beth Page; and many nieces and nephews whom she adored.
The Fullers are very thankful for all the support of family and friends.
In lieu of a service, a Celebration of Life will be held at Michael’s Harborside on Friday, February 9, 2024 from 12-4 PM. The Twomey, LeBlanc, & Conte Funeral Home 193 High St. Newburyport, MA 01950 is assisting Mrs. Fuller’s family with her arrangements.
