John "Jack" P. Vaughan

John “Jack” Vaughan, 74 of Newburyport MA, passed away peacefully on Wednesday January 29, 2025 in Methuen, MA with his wife Andrea and family by his side.

Jack was born on July 31, 1950 In Portsmouth NH, to his parents Alberta Perley and John W. Vaughan. Jack attended Newburyport High School and graduated in 1968. After High School he attended NH Technical School. He married Andrea Pollard of Newburyport on December 31, 1991.

He worked as a CNC Machinist at Berkshire Manufacturing in Newburyport. He loved watching sports, rooting on the Bruins, Celtics, Red Sox and Patriots. He would always support his grandchildren watching them play baseball, football, soccer and track. He ran a volleyball team and also ran a softball team in Newburyport.

Jack was a great man. He was such a caring, loving man. He would always have a smile on his face. He had a positive attitude towards life. He always had his hands open to help others.

Jack is survived by his wife Andrea, step-daughter Hilary Buontempo and her husband Nicholas Dole. His 2 grandchildren Jacob Buontempo and Chloe Raby of Newburyport. His brother Kenny Suprin and his wife Stephanie, nephew Christopher Suprin and his wife Megan, great-niece Audrey, niece Maureen Trafford, brother Ed Suprin and niece Taylor.

He was preceded by his mother Alberta, father John and brother Frank Trafford. Jack you will always be in our hearts and memories. We love you so much. Love, Andrea, Hilary, Nick, Jake and Chloe.
