John B. Doyle

John Doyle of Seabrook, NH, formerly of Newburyport and Worcester, MA passed away Monday June 12, 2023 surrounded by his family.

He is the husband of Catherine L. (Mitchell) Doyle, who is the love of his life.

Born in Newburyport on January 3, 1927, he was the son of Norman J. and Mary (Moynihan) Doyle and was a graduate of Newburyport High, Class of 1944.

John was the #1 salesman throughout his 35 plus years for Massachusetts Wholesale Drug Co.  At the age of 61 he retired and moved to Seabrook permanently, the beach was everything to him.

John was also an avid Red Sox fan and loved to play golf, his family was everything, winters in Florida, summers in Seabrook, his life was perfect.

He leaves his wife of 75 years, Catherine “Kay” of Newburyport; sons, Thomas of Seabrook, and James of Orlando; daughter, Catherine Ciullo and her husband Thomas of Worcester and Seabrook; daughters-in-law, Sheila Doyle of Attleboro, and Jean Doyle who he considered his daughter, she was his angel who did everything for him; grandchildren, Kyla, Molly, T.J., and Scott; his step-grandchildren, Tommy and Andrew; and 3 great grandchildren; as well as several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his daughter Jacqueline; son Timothy; and grandson Steven; as well as his siblings Norman, Robert (his twin), Paul, Greg and Mary Glynn.

Family and friends may call from 10:00 to Noon on Saturday June 17, 2023 at Immaculate Conception Church in Newburyport. His Funeral mass will follow at noon followed by burial at Oakhill Cemetery also in Newburyport. The Twomey, LeBlanc, & Conte Funeral Home 193 High St. Newburyport, MA 01950 is assisting Mr. Doyle’s family with his arrangements.
