James “Jim” E. Casellini, of Salisbury, MA., passed away peacefully surrounded by his children when God called him home to Heaven on January 22, 2024 at age 81.
Jim is survived by three children and five grandchildren: Peter Casellini and Angelique Skigis of Northborough, MA (Trevor, Brett and Mason) and Jill D’Attilio and her husband Jeff of Franklin, MA (Emma and Lauren), and Michael McKinnon and his wife Kirsten.
He is renewed and reunited in Heaven with his parents, Ann and Arthur Casellini and his brother William “Billy” Casellini.
Jim is a graduate of Immaculate Conception High School who went on to serve in the Unites States Navy as an Electricians Mate from 1963 – 1969. He then furthered his training and became a Master Electrician owning his own business for several years, finally ending his career retiring as the electrical teacher at Salem High School for over 25 years.
He had zest for being outdoors gardening in his yard and working on his many projects around the house. When surrounded by his children and grandchildren, Jim found himself to be full of joy and constant laughter, and always the biggest fan at his children and grandchildren’s sporting events as well.
Family and friends are invited to Jim’s calling hours on Sunday, January 28, 2024 from 1-4pm at the Twomey, LeBlanc & Conte Funeral Home 193 High St. Newburyport, MA 01950. Services and burial will be private.
