Obituary
Geraldine Fowler, 84, passed away Sunday, August 27, 2023 at High Pointe House in Haverhill. She was the wife of the late Dennis L. Fowler who passed away in 2022.
Born in Newburyport on April 18, 1939, she was the youngest of five siblings of the late James and Geraldine (Murphy) Hayes. Geri was a longtime resident of Newburyport who graduated from Immaculate Conception High School in 1957. She later worked at the former Amesbury Hospital where she met Dennis.
She is survived by her two sons, Donald Furbush, Jr. and his wife Jen of Brownington, VT; James Furbush and his wife Carolyn of Lawrence; several grandchildren, Brittany Boucher and her husband Matthew of Methuen, Brett Thomas of Lawrence, Christina Doughty and her husband Daniel of Bedford, NH, and Connor Furbush of Lawrence; several great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Family and friends may call from 5:00 to 7:00 PM on Tuesday September 5, 2023 at the Twomey, LeBlanc, & Conte Funeral Home 193 High St. Newburyport, MA 01950. Geri’s graveside service will be held at 10:00 AM on Wednesday September 6, 2023 at St. Mary’s Cemetery in Newburyport.
