Franklyn Arthur Fudge, 72, passed away peacefully at his home Friday May 22, 2020. He was born on March 13, 1948 in Somerville, MA to the late Leonard M. and Louise M. (Parsons) Fudge. He was raised and educated in Somerville graduating from Somerville High School. He then enlisted in the US Army and served our country proudly during the Vietnam War. Upon his return from service he continued his education graduating with his Bachelors of Arts degree from the University of Massachusetts.
Frank was employed for many years at Massachusetts General Hospital in their Credit and Collections Department.
In 1978. Frank was married to Katherine Ann (Laidley) Fudge and the couple celebrated 40 years of marriage before her passing in 2018. Frank had a deep passion for Movies, Music, and the Arts. His memory and knowledge of movie scores, scenes, and lines was truly impressive.
Frank is survived by his brother, Leonard Fudge and his wife Judy of Pelham, NH, and many cousins.
A private graveside service will be held at Oakhill Cemetery in Newburyport, where he will be laid to rest with his beloved wife Kathy. The Twomey, LeBlanc, & Conte Funeral Home 193 High St. Newburyport, MA 01950 is assisting Mr. Fudge’s family with his funeral arrangements.
