Eric "Seymour" Maynard

Eric W. Maynard, 59, of Fremont, NH passed away with family by his side on May 6, 2021 after a brief illness at Mass General.

Eric was born on December 15, 1961 to William Maynard and Mae (Steeves) Maynard in Ipswich, MA. Eric is a graduate from Georgetown High School and a devoted employee of Bentley Warren Trucking.

Eric is survived by his loving wife Bonnie (Sullivan) Maynard of Fremont, NH, his sister Terri Weiker of Merrimac, MA, as well as several brother and sister-in-laws. He also leaves behind stepchildren Eric Willis, Nathan Jones of Colorado, Ryan Jones and wife Cheryl of Fremont, NH, Lindsay George and her husband Justin of Berwick, ME; grandchildren, Caleb George, Abigail George, Cody George, and Connor Jones; nieces Amanda Weiker and Haley Maynard; nephews Jared Weiker, Nathan and Derek Maynard; and his lifelong friend Eben Bond.

Eric was happiest behind the wheel of his Peterbilt, when driving his hot rod, working in his garage, spending time with his family and his dogs, Charlie and Tucker.

He is predeceased in death by his parents William and Mae Maynard, His brother Steve Maynard, brother-in-law Ronny Weiker, stepson Craig Willis, and pets Lily, Zoe, Bentley, and Henry.

Family and friends may call on Wednesday May 12, 2021 from 4:00 to 7:00 PM at the Twomey, LeBlanc, & Conte Funeral Home 193 High St. Newburyport, MA 01950. THERE IS NO LONGER ANY PARKING AVAILABLE BEHIND THE FUNERAL HOME PER ORDER OF THE CITY OF NEWBURYPORT. Services and burial will be private.
