Dorothy Ann (Stevens) Serwon

Dorothy Ann (Stevens) Serwon, 89, of Newburyport, died Tuesday evening July 15, 2025 at Haverhill Crossings in Haverhill. She was born on June 25, 1936 in Newburyport to the late Robert and Doris (Stevens) Stevens. She was raised in Newbury and was a graduate of Newburyport High School.

On September 30, 1955 she married Frank and the couple settled in Newburyport to raise their family. Dorothy was primarily a stay at home mom, as taking care of her family brought her the greatest joy. She enjoyed  watching her boys and grandchildren participate in the sports they excelled in, as well as camping with her family. She also enjoyed traveling, especially to Aruba, Florida, the Bahamas, and spending time on Salisbury Beach.

Dorothy is survived by her daughter, Barbara Comora and her husband Mike of Exeter, NH; grandchildren, Michael Comora, Jr. and his wife Sarah, and Stephen Serwon; great grandchildren, Trevor, Ella, Camila, Hunter, and Annah; and daughter-in-law, Diane Serwon of Seabrook. Dorothy was predeceased by her husband Francis “Frank” Serwon; 2 sons, Stephen and Robert Serwon; and her daughter-in-law Stephanie Serwon.

Dorothy’s daughter would like to express her appreciation and love to the hard working staff at Benchmark senior living at Haverhill Crossing.

Dorothy’s Graveside Service will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday July 21, 2025 at St. Mary’s Cemetery in Newburyport. The Twomey, LeBlanc, & Conte Funeral Home 193 High St. Newburyport, MA 01950 is assisting Mrs. Serwon’s family with her funeral arrangements.
