Donald L. Fish, 69, went to the “Great Hunting Grounds in the Sky” Thursday morning February 27, 2020 at Wingate at Haverhill. He was born in Berlin Germany on June 26, 1950 to the late Lyle W. and Edith H. (Kollin) Fish. He was raised in Franklin, NH and attended Milton Vermont High School before being drafted into the Army in November of 1970. He served our country proudly during the Vietnam War and was honorably discharged in October of 1973.
Don was employed for many years by the Town of Salisbury before retiring from the Essex County School System. He was an avid outdoorsman, and especially enjoyed hunting and fishing, and was a member of the Essex County Sportsman Association.
Don is survived by his siblings, Henry Fish and his wife Jackie of Salem, NH, Richard Fish of Salisbury, and Robert Fish and his wife Linda of Fremont, NH; as well as several nieces and nephews.
Services and burial will be private. The Twomey, LeBlanc, & Conte Funeral Home 193 High St. Newburyport, MA 01950 is assisting Mr. Fish’s family with his funeral arrangements.
In lieu of flowers memorial contribution may be made in Donald’s name to the charity of ones choice.
