Dennis Lee Fowler

Dennis was born December 4, 1947 to Percy C Fowler Sr. And Alice B (Charest) Fowler in Amesbury, MA.

Dennis was married to Geraldine (Haynes) Fowler for 39 years, they met at the Amesbury Hospital where they were both employed and were married in a ceremony at Alliance Park in Amesbury. 

Dennis was raised in Amesbury and attended Amesbury schools. Dennis was employed with the Amesbury school system for many years and also at the the former Amesbury Hospital. 

Dennis was predeceased by both his parents, his brother Percy Fowler Jr., his brother Robert Fowler Sr. and sister in law Marie Fowler (Percy), and nephew Jeff Gilbert. 

He leaves his brother David Fowler Sr., his wife Linda of Danville, NH. His brother Michael Fowler, his wife Pamela of Naples, Florida, his sister Judi Cogswell and husband David of Ft. Myers, Florida. His godson Robert Fowler Jr. of NH. He also leaves many nieces and nephews and his friends at the Heritage House in Newburyport. Step sons Donald (Jen) and James (Carolyn) Furbush and his grandson Connor whom he adored. 

Dennis was born with cerebral palsy, but that never hindered his life, he achieved many milestones along the way and lived a full life regardless of his disability.  

Family and friends may call from 4:00 to 8:00 PM on Wednesday July 20, 2022 at the Twomey, LeBlanc, & Conte Funeral Home 193 High St. Newburyport, MA 01950. THERE IS NO LONGER ANY PARKING AVAILABLE BEHIND THE FUNERAL HOME PER ORDER OF THE CITY OF NEWBURYPORT. His Graveside Service will be celebrated at 10:30 AM on Thursday July 21, 2022 at St. Mary’s Cemetery in Newburyport. 

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in Dennis’ name to Coastal Connections 35 Water St. Amesbury, MA 01913.
