Colleen R. (Riley) Lewis

Colleen Lewis, beloved mother, community pillar, and cherished friend, peacefully passed away at her home on April 24, 2024, at the age of 73, after bravely battling Parkinson’s disease for 30 years. Colleen leaves behind a legacy of love and laughter, survived by her three children, Blair, Grant, and Jennifer, and her cherished companion, Rosie the dog.

Throughout her life, Colleen made an incredible mark on her community, notably through her dedicated work with Mary Kay. Her commitment to empowering others and spreading joy was evident in every aspect of her life.

Colleen earned her undergraduate degree from the College of New Jersey and went on to achieve a master's degree in history from George Washington University.

Known for her infectious humor and unwavering positivity, Colleen had a knack for lifting spirits and bringing people together. Whether through a heartfelt conversation or a well-timed joke, she had a remarkable gift for making those around her feel valued and appreciated.

Colleen will be dearly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her. Her laughter, kindness, and compassionate spirit will continue to inspire and resonate with us all.

Family and friends are invited for Colleen’s Funeral Service at 10:30am on Friday, May 10, 2024 at the Twomey, LeBlanc, & Conte Funeral Home in Newburyport. Burial will be private at a later date.
