Christine Meredith (McCabe) Tomlinson

Christine Meredith (McCabe) Tomlinson, born February 14, 1958 in Pawtucket, RI, died peacefully June 26, 2021 surrounded by family, at her home in Newburyport, MA. Chris was a co-owner and president of Document Research, LLC, a real estate title company, for the last twenty years. A founder and co-collector of Celebrity Trash in the late 1980s, Chris was a brilliant, creative, fun, curious, and happy person with a quick wit and infectious sense of humor which she brought to everyone in all aspects of her life. True to her character, she managed to retain those qualities throughout her five-month battle with pancreatic cancer. A lover of knitting, champion of the blender drink, avid chair rescuer, and relentless recycler, Chris will be remembered for her grace, strength, and courage, especially during the last five months, but also for her delightful and kind spirit throughout her life.

Chris was loved by and inspired many including her spouse, Jeff Tomlinson, and their children, Aidan and Lydia Tomlinson, of Newburyport, MA; her sisters and their spouses: Carol and Rusty Correia of Newport Beach, CA, Barbara and Steve Newton, of Seekonk, MA, Joan McCabe and Michael Kramer, of NYC, NY, Melanie and Jerry Martin, of Indianapolis, IN; her sisters-in-law and brother-in-law and their spouses: Kristina and Jimmy Collins of Tampa, FL, Karin and Roland Reyes of Indian Rocks Beach, FL, Steffan and Kelli Tomlinson, of Atherton, CA; her many nieces and nephews; and too many dear friends to list. Special gratitude is given to all the local friends who supported the family in recent months. Chris will be missed terribly by all who knew her.
