Christine M. O'Brien

Christine M. O'Brien of Newbury died of respiratory illness on November 25, 2025, at the age of 73.

Christine was born in Cambridge to parents Joseph and Elizabeth (Connor) O'Brien. She was the fourth of their five children.

Christine graduated from Saint Peter's High School in Cambridge and attended secretarial school at Katherine Gibbs in Boston. She began her career as a secretary, advancing over several years to become a project manager at a major technology company.

Christine's cheerful and humorous personality won her many friends. She will be sorely missed by friends and family.

Christine leaves her sister, Nancy Jones and her husband Lester Jones, her brother, Stephen O'Brien and his wife Leslie O'Brien, and her dear cousin and sister at heart, Jean Connor.

She will be fondly remembered by her niece and nephews, Cheryl Comeau, Jeffrey Jones, and Connor O'Brien, and their children and grandchildren.

Family and friends may call on Sunday December 7, 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Twomey, LeBlanc, & Conte Funeral Home 193 High St. Newburyport, MA 01950. Her Services and Burial will be private at a later date.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in Christine's name to MSPCA at Northeast Animal Shelter -- Salem MA
