Charles “Chucky” Fisher, 70, died Monday evening July 26, 2021 at his residence in Merrimac.
He was born in Lynn, MA on March 24, 1951 to the late George and Dorothy (Lynch) Fisher. He attended school in Saugus prior to his enlistment in the US Marines, where he served our country proudly during the Vietnam War. Upon his return from service he was employed by General Electric in Lynn as a Jet Engine Mechanic for 35 years until his retirement.
He loved riding his Harley and rooting for the Patriots on Sunday. Chucky was also a huge fan of Elvis Presley. Nothing gave him more joy than spending time with family, especially his grand children and great grandchildren and friends at the cottage on Sunset Lake in Hampstead, NH.
Chucky is survived by his wife Candace (Pippy) Fisher of Merrimac; children, Brandie Fisher of Merrimac, Heidi Hess of ME, and Charles Fisher of Merrimac; grandchildren, Felicia Falco and her husband Kevin, Demetrios Thornton, Sklyar, Paige, Jaxson, and Kaiden Fisher; great grandchildren, Madison and Elena; several siblings; many nieces and nephews; two special sister in laws, Carrie O’Halloran and her husband Paul, and Valerie Jenkinson and her husband Jay. He was predeceased by his great grandson Colin Falco; sister, Donna Newbury; and his mother and father in law, Betty and Richard Coffin.
Family and friends may call on Monday August 2, 2021 from 10:00 to Noon at the Twomey, LeBlanc, & Conte Funeral Home 193 High St. Newburyport, MA 01950. His Funeral Service will follow in the Funeral Home and burial will be private at a later date. THERE IS NO LONGER ANY PARKING AVAILABLE BEHIND THE FUNERAL HOME PER ORDER OF THE CITY OF NEWBURYPORT.
