Catherine "Kay" L. (Mitchell) Doyle

Catherine L. Doyle, 96 of Seabrook, NH joined her “Johnny” on August 16, 2024. She passed peacefully surrounded by family at Oceanside Center in Hampton, NH.

She was born on July 7, 1928 to the late Gordon and Catherine (Cronin) Mitchell. She married the love of her life John Doyle and enjoyed 75 years together raising their 5 children. John and Kay resided in Worcester, MA before retiring to Seabrook, NH.

Mom loved going to the track, playing Bingo and enjoying her family and friends. Most of all she enjoyed dressing and looking beautiful. She was a model in Newburyport and in her later years in Worcester as well. Anyone that saw Kay knew she was an “Eye Turner” and a “Knock-out”.

Kay is survived by her sons, Thomas of Seabrook, James of FL; daughter, Catherine Ciullo and her husband Tom of Worcester; very special daughter-in-law Jean, but she really considered her a daughter of FL; grandchildren, Kyla, T.J., and Molly; step-grandchildren, Thomas and Andrew; and great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her daughter Jacqueline, son Timothy, and grandchildren Steven and Scott, as well and her husband John who died in 2023.

The family would like to thank the staff at Oceanside Center for their loving care of Kay over the past 8 years, where she was known as the “Queen”.

Family and friends may call from 10:30 to 11:30 AM on Wednesday August 21, 2024 at Immaculate Conception Church. Her Funeral Mass will follow in the Church with burial after Mass at Oakhill Cemetery. The Twomey, LeBlanc, & Conte Funeral Home 193 High St. Newburyport, MA 01950 is assisting Mrs. Doyle’s family with her arrangements.
