A talented Trompe l‘oeil painter and muralist, she worked with mixed media as well, and was an amazing knitter (often giving away hats to babies passing through open studios, instead of selling them). Her quick Irish wit and sense of humor endeared her to cherished friends, family and strangers with whom she chatted. She was a true matriarch who loved her family, friends and dogs deeply.
