Caleb Kirby Happ

Caleb Happ, also known to his friends as Chapp, passed away unexpectedly on January 8th, 2020.  Caleb was from Newburyport, Mass., and a senior at Newburyport High School.

Caleb was a constant joy in the lives of his friends and family.  He was kind, funny, and he loved pizza. He really loved pizza. His favorite times were spent in Maine with his grandparents, on traveling adventures with his mother and sister, curled up on the couch with his aunt and uncle arguing about what movie to watch, and driving aimlessly around town with his friends.  Caleb loved cars, he loved his dog, and he loved his friends and family.  He was always ready with a helping hand, especially as his family’s full-time IT support.  He was an amazing caretaker who exuded life.

Caleb is survived by his parents, Lisa Hamel of Newburyport, and Justin Happ of Rye, N.H., and his sister and best friend, Lucia Happ of Newburyport. He also leaves his maternal grandparents, Doug and Connie Hamel of Stoningon, Maine; his uncle and aunt, Frank and Melinda Graziano of Beverly, Mass.; his paternal grandparents; and many loving friends.
