We are sad to announce the passing of Arlene (Woodsum) Cross. She was born July 12, 1957 to the late George and Isabelle Markos and was a lifelong sea coast resident. Arlene succumbed to her illness on April 14, 2023. She spent her last days surrounded by family and wrapped in love.
Arlene leave behind two daughters, Angela Cross and her fiancé Willem Nel, and Michelle Florence and her husband Chris. She also leaves behind six granddaughters; Sarah, Alexis, Kristen, Alyssa, Nicole and Brianna. In addition, she also leaves behind 3.5 great-grandchildren who she loves so dearly; Annie, Isabella, Hunter and Harper. She also leaves behind three sisters; Patricia, Cynthia and Christina and many generations of nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her three brothers Richard, Frank and Arthur and one sister Dorothy.
Per her request there will be no services. A celebration of life will be scheduled for a later date. The Twomey, LeBlanc, & Conte Funeral Home 193 High St. Newburyport, M A01950 is assisting Mrs. Cross’ family with her arrangements.
