Anthony Fordham Obituary

Anthony Fordham, 44, died Saturday evening January 9, 2021 at Exeter Hospital. He was born on May 18, 1976 in Haverhill, MA to Mary (Matthews) Fordham and the late Thomas Fordham. Tony was raised and educated in Newburyport, graduating from Newburyport High School.

Following his graduation Tony was employed for several years at Market Basket before his current employer Cobham Inc. as a Warehouse Supervisor. He enjoyed playing guitar and was a member of the Revolution Dart League in Newburyport. Tony had a special quality to be everyone’s best friend and had many.

Anthony is survived by his mother, Mary Fordham of Newburyport; brothers, Thomas Fordham and his wife Belinda of Plum Island, and Nicholas Fordham and his girlfriend Kelly Toscano of Newburyport; nieces and nephews, Melissa Andersen and her husband Joe, Kelly Fordham, Jake Buontempo, and Skylar Fordham; as well as his best friends, Rob Cook and Jason Jolivet.

Family and friends are invited to his calling hours on Friday January 15, 2021 from 4:00 to 8:00 PM at the Twomey, LeBlanc, & Conte Funeral Home 193 High St. Newburyport, MA 01950. THERE IS NO LONGER ANY PARKING AVAILABLE BEHIND THE FUNERAL HOME PER ORDER OF THE CITY OF NEWBURYPORT. Services and burial will be announced at a later date.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in Anthony’s name to the Nickoletta Matthews Staszewski Scholarship Fund c/o Newburyport Bank, 63 State St., Newburyport, MA 01950.
