Anthony L. Federico

Anthony L. Federico of Newburyport, MA, formerly of Boston and Stoneham, died peacefully after a short illness on June 15, 2022.  He was the son of the late Frank and Elisa (Fringillo) Federico. Tony was the beloved husband for 64 years to Carol (Gizzi) Federico.  He was the loving father to Rick and his wife Pamela of Newburyport, Steven and his wife Lori of Peabody, and the grandfather to his adored grandchildren Anthony Federico of Boston, Nicholas, Paul, and Robert Federico of Newburyport, Samantha, Jason, and Frankie Federico of Stoneham as well as his step-grandchildren Breanna Russo and Derrick Gordon of Peabody and Nick Herlihy of Stoneham. He is also survived by his loving sister Phyllis Federico of Boston. He was predeceased by his sister Marie Ann Federico and his brother Robert Federico of Boston. Anthony was born and raised in the North End of Boston and spent most of his years raising his family in Stoneham. He worked for the majority of his professional career at Prolerized New England, retiring at 55 as the general manager.

When he wasn’t with his wife Carol, he enjoyed golfing with his friends as well as spending quality time with his grandchildren and cheering them on in all their activities and sporting events.

Relatives and friends are invited on Saturday, July 9th, 2022 to the Immaculate Conception Church in Newburyport, MA for a 10:00 am reception line with the family, followed by Anthony’s Funeral Mass at 10:30 am. This will be followed by a Celebration of Life reception at Michael’s Harborside Restaurant in Newburyport, Ma. The Twomey, LeBlanc, & Conte Funeral Home 193 High St. Newburyport, MA 01950 is assisting Mr. Federico’s family with his funeral arrangements.
