Ann Marie Connor, 65, passed away peacefully at her home on Thursday afternoon July 27, 2023 with her loving family by her side. She was born in Salem, MA on July 8, 1958, and grew up in Peabody.
Ann Marie worked as a Bartender at Michael’s Harborside for over 20 years, and had many loved regulars that became close friends. She worked with lots of families through her interior painting business, where she had a knack for picking the perfect color.
She loved spending time in her yard, and took pride in making her home perfect. Her annual family cookout was a highlight of the summer and her hospitality made all feel welcome. She was an amazing cook who loved hosting her family and friends and planning out course after course of delicious food. Paisley was her faithful companion for the last 10 years, but nothing compared to the love she had for her children Jamie & Mikie, and her grandchildren Livia & Vander.
She courageously fought pancreatic cancer for almost 2 years and her strength was truly an inspiration.
Ann Marie is survived by her mother, Concettina “Tina” (Lenares) Caron; children, Jamie Connor and her husband Alex Perrott of Newburyport, and Michael Connor, Jr. of Newburyport; grandchildren, Livia and Vander; siblings, Chris Paul of Peabody, Cathy Roccoforte of Beverly, and Mary Jane Moss and her husband Dan of Jacksonville, FL; niece and nephews, David, Liz, and Zach; as well as many close friends. She was predeceased by her godson, Jeffrey Paul, her brother-in-law Anthony Roccoforte, and her good friend Larry Twomey.
Family and friends may call from 4:00 to 8:00 PM on Wednesday August 2, 2023 at the Twomey, LeBlanc, & Conte Funeral Home 193 High St. Newburyport, MA 01950. Her Funeral Mass will be Celebrated at 10:30 AM on Thursday August 3, 2023 at Immaculate Conception Church. Family and friends are asked to go directly to church for her Mass. Burial will be private at a later date.
